Spring growth

I decided following the completion of the raised rose bed, to chronicle one of the bushes as it grows. Here are the pictures of it's growth in only four weeks!

To build a wall....

I've heard for the last two years that the roses can only do so well in pots... they must go into the ground to reach their potential. Couple that with a goal of selling the house in a year or so and that means - Time for a project!!!

We set out this weekend to build a retaining wall type flower bed... I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!!!
